Eagles Drop Pair to Millikin University

Game Two:

The Big Blue kicked off scoring in the first inning of game two with a two-run homerun to right field by Julian Gutierrez. Ozarks then led off the bottom of the second with three consecutive hits to bring a run across and narrow the margin to 2-1.

Millikin would add another in the fourth, but the Eagles tied it up 3-3 in the bottom of the same inning with an RBI double by Josh Woolly.
The game went to ten innings with Millikin winning 4-3.
Game Three:

The Big Blue opened big scoring two off a homerun from Jake Drada.

In the top of the third, with Millkin at bat and the bases loaded, Devin Crews used a single to bring home Seth Coffey to advance the lead 3-0. In the bottom of the third, the Eagles rallied back as Alex Smith scored off a wild pitch from Logan Talkington to narrow Millikin's lead to 3-1.

After three scoreless innings, the Big Blue's Drada used another homerun in top of the seventh to score three to further Millikin's lead to 6-1. To lessen Millkin's lead, Eagles center fielder Smith, used a sacrifice fly to score Fielder Dufrene to put another run on the board, 6-2.

The Big Blue added three more runs in the top of the eighth inning to increase their lead to 9-2.

The Eagles will travel to Louisiana College February 24 and 25 for their first conference series.
