Steady Offense Lifts Henderson State Past Eagles

Overview:
Henderson State University produced runs in five innings to hand the Eagles a 11-4 setback Tuesday night in Arkadelphia. The Reddies scored two runs in the first and another run in the third to lead 3-0. The Eagles generated three runs in the fifth behind an Edwin Rodriguez RBI single, Zach Stanley RBI double and an RBI groundout from Fielder Dufrene. Henderson State followed suit with three runs in the bottom half of the fifth to take the lead for good. The Reddies matched that total in the sixth and moved ahead 9-3. Rocky Liveoak had an RBI double in the seventh to finish the scoring for the Eagles. Josh Stephens paced the Eagles with two hits.
