Breyden Varner homered twice and drove in four runs to push the Eagles to a 17-12 win over Louisiana College.

GAME ONE
Overview:
 Louisiana College opened the game with three runs and then kept the Eagles' offense in check the rest of the way to earn a 11-5 win in game one Friday. A pair of RBI doubles by Erick Aguirre and Chase Edwards brought the Eagles within 9-4 after five innings. But the Wildcats quickly answered with two runs in the next frame. Edwards would later hit a solo homer for the Eagles. Zach Stanley led the way with three hits for the Eagles.

GAME TWO
Overview: The Eagles avenged a game one loss and pounded out 17 hits against seven Wildcat pitchers in a 17-12 win. Breyden Varner homered in the second inning and Dakota Ebarb and Rocky Liveoak produced RBI in the frame to quickly put the Eagles in front 3-0. The Wildcats matched that total in the third and put three more on in the fourth to take the lead. The lead didn't last long as the Eagles recorded five hits and four runs in the fourth. Louisiana College again scored three runs to move ahead, but the Eagles responded with four runs in the fifth. Chase Edwards had a two-run single and Varner powered a three-run homer to give the Eagles a 12-9 lead after five. But for the fourth straight inning the Wildcats scored three times to even the score 12-12 in the top of the sixth. In the bottom half of the inning, the Eagles scored once and in the seventh Rey Lozano highlighted the frame with a two-run single. Seven Eagles had multiple-hit games. Edwards had three hits and drove in three runs. Varner had two hits and four RBI.
