Competitive Cheerleading Team Wins Division Championship At Kansas City JamFest

Clarksville, Ark.-The University of the Ozarks cheerleading team won their division at the Kansas City - Nationals JamFest Series February 22-23.

Head Coach Tori Cox's team competed with 17 cheerleaders at the event, but that didn't stop the squad from receiving first place in their division behind a score of 87.63. With its performance, the team was crowned national champion of that series and qualified for the US Finals.

On day one, Ozarks posted a building score of 36.2, a tumbling score of 26.8, an overall score of 23.3, a total score of 86.3 and a final score of 85.8.

On day two, Ozarks posted a building score of 41.1, a tumbling score of 26.8, an overall score of 23.3, a total score 91.2 and a final score of 89.45.

Ozarks will head to Branson, Missouri, for a one-day performance at the COA Cheer and Dance Spotlight March 14.
