Ozarks opened practice at 12:00 a.m. Saturday morning and continue to put in work for the upcoming season. The Eagles open with one of the most accomplished teams in program history when it travels to Little Rock to face UA-Little Rock in an exhibition game November 14. UA-Little Rock advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament a year ago.  The Eagles posted the most wins (12) in a decade and return a veteran group. Seniors Josh Berard and Josh Ferrell have both been All-Conference players. Berard, a 6-foot-3 guard, made a national splash last season when he scored an NCAA best 60 points in one game. Ferrell, a 6-foot-1 guard, was the American Southwest Conference Freshman of the Year. Point guard Jace Richardson followed Ferrell as Conference Freshman of the Year, and Dylan Gray, a junior forward, is back as a starter.

Ozarks begins its regular season against Arlington Baptist November 17 at home.
