Concordia Scores 123 In Win Over Eagles

Clarksville, Ark.-Six Concordia University Texas players scored in double figures to push the Tornados to a 123-107 win over the University of the Ozarks in American Southwest Conference play.

The high-scoring Tornados (6-3, 1-0 ASC) led 54-49 at halftime after overcoming a deficit. Concordia finished the final four minutes of the first half on a 18-13 run. Josh Berard had 20 points in the first half. Ozarks (4-2, 1-2 ASC) shot 58 percent from the field in the second half, but Concordia bettered that be hitting 61 percent. Concordia started the second half on a 10-2 run to extend its lead to 64-51. Ozarks made a few runs, but couldn't match Concordia's scoring effort in the final 15 minutes. Berard added 21 more points in the second half to finish with 41. He was 13-of-18 from the floor and 13-of-14 from the free throw line.

Dylan Gray scored 28 points and grabbed 11 rebounds.

Ozarks will travel to Howard Payne December 15 and Sul Ross State December 17.
