UCA Tops Eagles In Exhibition Game

THE BASICS
The University of Central Arkansas opened the game on a 37-3 run and never let the Eagles back into the game taking a 93-52 win. The game was an exhibition for the Eagles. UCA hit 60 percent from the field in the first half to head into intermission with a 47-19 lead. In the second half, the Eagles made a run behind a trio of three-pointers. Skyler Barnes drilled back-to-back shots from long-range and Tim Turpin hit another to trim the deficit to 53-32. Turpin's layup at the 15:00 mark of the second half put the deficit at 19 points. But the Bears controlled the rest of the game.
