THE BASICS
UT-Tyler built a 36-30 halftime lead and then held off the Eagles in the second half to secure a 73-68 win. The Eagles went on an 8-0 run around the 15-minute mark to trim the deficit to 41-40. Ethan Bowman capped the run with a layup. The Eagles later tied the game and came within 68-65 on a Lance Gardner three-pointer at the 2:36 mark.
