THE BASICS

The Eagles shot over 50 percent from the field and snapped a three-game losing skid in a 74-66 win over Austin College Saturday in Texas. The Eagles made 12-of-13 from the free throw line to hold a 38-29 lead at halftime. Zach Bobo scored 13 of his team-high 18 points in the first half. Austin College held just one lead in the game, and that came on the first points of the contest 45 seconds in. Bobo hit a jumper at the 15:22 mark of the second half to put the Eagles in front 48-37. From there, the Eagles held a double-digit lead for most of the way. Jacobe Davis and Cordy Winston had 14 and 12 points, respectively. The two teams combined for 43 turnovers.
