Conway, Ark.-For the second time this season, the Eagles defeated Hendrix College in men's soccer action.

In Monday night's came, the Eagles (6-1-2) scored a goal in each half to upend the Warriors (2-7-0) 2-0. Ozarks fired off 11 shots in the first half and got a goal from Layne Garcia in the 39^th minute. Garcia received a cross from Thomas Ross and netted what turned out to be the game-winner. The Eagles held steady the rest of the half and led 1-0 at halftime. Daniel Olvera Cruz scored with less than five minutes remaining in the match to push Ozarks in front 2-0. Cruz scored on a fast break receiving the ball from Johnson Cijulus.

Ozarks posted 19 shots in the match. Sean Garcia created six shots on his own.

Luis Mena had three saves to record his second shutout of the year.

Ozarks will face LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas, September 30.
