Men’s Soccer Team Suffers Home Loss

Clarksville, Ark.-The Texas-Tyler men's soccer team came away from Clarksville with a 2-0 win Saturday in American Southwest Conference action.

Prior to the match, Ozarks (8-2-2, 2-2-1 ASC) hadn't lost at home. Texas-Tyler (6-4-0, 2-3-0 ASC) scored early to put pressure on the Eagles. Lucas Pereira netted a goal in the 4th minute to give the Patriots a lead it wouldn't relinquish. Ozarks had its chances in the second half with four corner kicks, but came away empty. The Patriots then put the match out of reach with a penalty kick in the 89th minute.  
    
Ozarks will host Louisiana College October 13 and Belhaven October 15. The match against Belhaven will be Homecoming for the campus. A pregame tailgate picnic is planned for 12:30 p.m.
