THE BASICS
The Eagles scored early in the match to set the tone, but couldn't keep Howard Payne off the board as the Yellow Jackets scored back-to-back goals in the second half to secure a 2-1 win. Alex Ross opened the match with a goal with just over a minute into the conference affair. The Eagles went on to generate seven more shots in the first half and keep the lead at intermission.
