THE BASICS
Central College used a 2-0 halftime advantage to upend the Eagles 3-0 Sunday afternoon in Iowa. The Eagles had six shots in the first half, but came up empty. Central scored in the seventh minute and added another goal in the 35th minute to hold a 2-0 lead. From there, the Dutch were able to keep the Eagles off the board to record a shutout.
