Swim Team Hosts Senior Meet; Toland Wins Three Races

Clarksville, Ark.-The University of the Ozarks women's and men's swim teams held its Senior Meet hosting Henderson State University Saturday.

The Henderson State women took a 143-63 win over Ozarks, while the Henderson State men posted a 126-83 victory over the Eagles.

The Eagles posted six first-place finishes in the meet. In the men's 200-yard freestyle, Jacob Toland won with a time of 1:55.09. Toland also posted a win in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 52.69. Toland finished first in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:17.29. Austin Waters had a first-place finish in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:03.62. Waters won again in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:08.45. Kaitlyn Henrietta won the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 27.99. For Ozarks, seniors Valeria Robleto and Thibault Melchior were honored at the meet.

The Eagles will now head to the SCAC Championships February 14-17 in The Colony, Texas.
