Little Rock, Ark. – The Eagles placed third in the Little Rock Invitational Saturday.
In the 200 medley relay, Nicolas White, Nicolas Dunsworth, Josh Collins and Gustavo Almaraz placed seventh with a time of 1:51.54. In the 1000 free, Jacob Jones swam a 10:36.32 for sixth place. In the 200 free, Collins placed sixth with a time of 1:55.60. In the 100 back, White placed eighth with a time of 1:04.48, Bailey Butler was tenth with a time of 1:10.01, Michael Vargas was 11th with a time of 1:10.19 and Daniel Lopez was 13th with a time of 1:17.68. In the 100 breast stroke, Michael Walkine placed 11th swimming a 1:05.95. Nicolai Van Zyl was 12th with a time of 1:06.63. Dunsworth was 13th swimming a 1:11.23. In the 200 butterfly, Almaraz placed 11th swimming a 2:37.25. In the 50 free, Collins placed eighth (22.85), Jones placed ninth (23.00), Van Zyl placed 12th (23.63), Lopez placed 15th (25.86) and Butler placed 18th (27.44). In the 100 free, Collins swam a 50.31 to finish ninth. Almarez swam a 59.66 to finish 13th. In the 200 back, White was sixth with a time of 2:19.08 and Butler was eighth with a time of 2:36.90. In the 200 breast stroke, Van Zyl placed eighth (2:30.70), Dunsworth placed ninth (2:34.24) and Walkine placed tenth (2:35.97). In the 500 free, Jones finished seventh swimming a 5:03.38. Vargas placed 11th swimming a 6:34.33. In the 100 butterfly, Almarez placed 14th with a time of 1:07.03 and Lopez placed 16th with a time of 1:15.33. In the 200 IM, White swam a 2:17.15 for tenth place, Dunsworth swam a 2:23.04 for 11th place and Vargas swam a 2:48.73 for 12th place. In the 200 free relay, Walkine, Lopez, Van Zyl and Jones posted a time of 1:35.93 for seventh place.
