Men’s Tennis Team Notches Third Straight ASC Win

Clarksville, Ark.-The men's tennis team cruised to an easy 9-0 win over American Southwest Conference opponent Louisiana College Monday afternoon.
    
Ozarks (3-1, 3-1 ASC) left little doubt as to who the better team was. The Eagles won three consecutive doubles matches to begin the day and then followed with dominating performances in singles play. Todd Turner and Bishop Bass won 8-0 at No. 1 doubles, Corey Dillard and Tyler Keel won 8-1 at No. 2 and Greg Knaggs and Michael Skimbo won 8-1 at No. 3. 
    
In singles, Todd Turner picked up a 6-0, 6-0 win in the No. 1 position. Bishop Bass won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 and Greg Knaggs won 6-0, 6-2 at No. 3. Ozarks continued its domination in the No. 4-6 spots. Corey Dillard won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 4, while Tyler Keel gained a 6-0, 6-1 victory at No. 5 and Michael Skimbo earned a 6-0, 6-0 at No. 6. Louisiana College falls to 0-4 overall and 0-3 in the ASC.

Ozarks will host John Brown University March 13 and Mary Hardin-Baylor and Centenary College March 15. "Senior Day" is set for Saturday's match as Marcus Bobb, Scott Eibes, Macie Kelley, Whitney Lewis, Kalli Simpson and Michael Skimbo will be honored.
