Richardson, Texas- Texas Dallas eliminated Ozarks from the American Southwest Conference Tournament with a 5-0 win in the quarterfinals Thursday night.
Texas Dallas (8-1) opened the match with a 3-0 lead behind a sweep in doubles play. Texas Dallas won 8-2 at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles. The Comets also posted an 8-0 victory at No. 3. In singles play, the Comets won 6-0, 6-0 at the No. 4 and No. 5 position to secure the win.
Under head coach Cullen Dees, it was the third straight season Ozarks (3-16) has qualified for the tournament.
