Men's Tennis Dominates Evangel

The Eagles dominated Evangel 7-0 on Saturday.

Springfield, Mo.-The men's tennis team went on the road and handed NAIA Evangel University a 7-0 loss on Saturday.

In singles competition, No. 1 Hikaru Yamaya defeated Daryl Wong 2-6, 6-3, 6-3. At the No 2 spot, Aaron Gambrell defeated James Mcilwrath 6-1, 7-5. At the No. 3 position, TJ Saniseng took a 6-1, 6-1 win. At the No. 4 position, Parker Morey took a 6-0, 6-2 win. At the No 5 position, Nico Castells defeated his opponent 6-1, 6-1 and at the No.6 position, Dallas Elmore won 6-3, 6-3. In doubles play, the Eagles were just as impressive. In No. 1 doubles, TJ Saniseng and Aaron Gambrell won 8-1. In No. 2 doubles, Hikaru Yamaya and Nico Castells won 8-0. At the No. 3 spot, Parker Morey and Dallas Elmore won 8-0.

The Eagles will host Belhaven University April 24 in the final regular season match of the season.
