Magnolia, Ark.-The women's and men's track team competed in the Dan Veach Invitational at Southern Arkansas University Saturday.
In the women's 1500-meter, Hannah Smith finished fifth overall with a time of 5:23.58. Stephanie Alderson ran a 5:48.75 to place ninth overall. In the men's 1500-meter, Jonathon Wood ran a 4:38.85 to place 14th overall. In the men's 100-meter, Jacob Williams ran a 11:50 to place 11th overall. In the women's 800-meter, Smith placed fifth with a time of 2:37.07. Alderson ran a 2:53.02 to place seventh. In the men's 800-meter, Wood placed 11th with a time of 2:09.33.
Ozarks will travel to Little Rock to compete in the Little Rock Open April 8.
