Clarksville, Ark.-University of the Ozarks senior sprinter Jacob Williams was named the American Southwest Conference Men's Track Athlete of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday.

Williams, a native of Broken Arrow, Okla., earned Athlete of the Week by setting a modern-day school record in the 60-meter dash, posting a time of 7.21 seconds. He finished in eighth place in the mostly NCAA Division II Missouri Southern Invite in Joplin, Missouri, Saturday.

Ozarks will compete in the Arkansas State University Invitational January 26-27.
