Track Competes In Harding Open

THE BASICS
Searcy, Ark.-The men's track team competed in the Harding University Open Thursday in Searcy at the newly opened Ted Lloyd Track. In the 3000 steeple, Duban Figueroa ran a 11:47.54 for sixth place. In the 1500, Daniel Sanderson placed eighth with a time of 4:18.09. Nathan Duncan ran a 4:20.22 for 11th place. Skyler Thomas ran a 4:26.89 for 15th place. Baltazar Garcia ran a 4:31.02 for 18th place. Benjamin Stormes ran a 4:34.36 for 21st place. Miguel Quisquina ran a 4:45.19 for 25th place. Colby Dorcely  ran a 4:48.29 for 28th place and Zachary Wilson ran a 5:18.34 for 29th place. In the 400, Tavion Dickenson placed tenth with a time of 52.26. In the 800, Nathan Duncan ran a  2:09.13 for 17th place. Baltazar Garcia ran a 2:12.81 for 24th place and Miguel Quisquina ran a 2:23.64 for 30th place. In the 5000, Nathan Rankin placed fourth with a time of 16:11.89 and Ashton Arnold placed fifth with a time of 16:15.20. In the 4x400, the Eagles fielded two teams. One team ran a 3:34.38 for fourth place overall, setting a new program record. The team consisted of Thomas, Stormes, Duncan and Dickerson. The second team ran a 3:53.20 for seventh place.
