Fayetteville, Ark.- The men's cross country competed in one of the most prominent and largest races in the region Saturday morning at the 8K Chile Pepper Festival in Fayetteville.

Ozarks finished 44^th in the Division II category. Jonathon Wood was the team's top finisher, running a 30:18.62 for 265^th place. Spencer Turner followed with a time of 33:21.69 for 286^th place. Kole Smith placed 288^th with a time of 33:58.97. Tyler O'Banion was next with a time of 35:03.89 for 290^th place. Wyatt Metzger posted a time of 36:46.96 for 293^rd place. There were 301 runners in the Division II category.

Ozarks will host the University of the Ozarks Invitational October 8.
