NCAA III Championships: Nathan Rankin Interviews With Eagle Sports 30

Nathan Rankin will compete in the NCAA III cross country championships this Saturday.

Clarksville, Ark.-Eagle Sports 30 host Vincent Barber sat down with NCAA III national cross country qualifier Nathan Rankin to discuss the 2018 season and the process it took to advance to Saturday's championship race.

Rankin, who qualified for the NCAA III Cross Country National Championships following his performance at the NCAA III Regional Saturday, will compete in the national championships Saturday, November 17, in Wisconsin.

University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh will serve as the host of the championship 8K race. The men's race starts at 12:15 p.m. and will be held at Lake Breeze Golf Club.

Rankin is the first cross country runner in program history to advance to nationals. In March, Rankin wrestled at the NCAA III Wrestling National Championships, making him complete the rare feat of having qualified for two sports at the national level in the same year.
