Softball Team Drops Season Finale

Austin, Texas-The University of the Ozarks softball team dropped its season finale 5-0 against Concordia University Texas on Saturday.

Concordia (19-21, 12-18 ASC) had a 1-0 lead after the first and a 3-0 lead after the second to put Ozarks (6-31, 4-29 ASC) in a tough spot. Concordia's consistency generating runs continued as it scored one run in the fourth and another in the fifth. The Eagles had hits in the first, second and third innings, but couldn't produce any runs. Ozarks also had runners reach base in the sixth and the seventh but came up empty. Katie Ventress went 2-for-3 to lead Ozarks at the plate.

Ozarks saw its three seniors – Kayla Gray, Laken Gray and Krysten Shavers – play their final games.
