Overview:
A big 11-run second inning that saw a Katie Ventress grand slam and a Riki Haase solo home run helped the Eagles to a 12-5 game three victory over Hardin-Simmons University and complete a sweep. In the second, the Eagles pounded out nine hits and took the game's momentum. Ventress blasted a grand slam to give the Eagles a 6-0 lead. The Eagles certainly were not done though as Haase later followed with a two-out solo shot. Hailey Ostrander and Megan Madden also had RBI in the frame. Hardin-Simmons did score four runs in the fifth to keep the game from ending in a run-rule. Madden was 3-for-3 with three RBI. Ventress drove in four runs and Ostrander, Taylor Teague and Sydney Key had two hits apiece. Hannah Oler threw four innings to receive the win and Jaela Martin notched the save.

Sunday's three-game conference sweep was the first since 2016. The Eagles swept Concordia University Texas to end the season that year.
