Overview: Howard Payne scored the game-winning run in the fifth inning on a double steal to pull out a 3-2 come-from-behind win in game one of the series. Sydney Key opened the scoring with a solo home run in the second inning. Hailey Ostrander ripped an RBI single in the third to put the Eagles in front 2-0. But Howard Payne scored once in the bottom of the third and then twice more in the fifth. The Eagles had five hits in the game.
