GAME THREE

Overview: 
The Eagles let a 7-5 lead slip away in the sixth inning as McMurry University rallied to a 8-7 win Saturday. The Eagles opened the game in impressive fashion scoring four runs on six hits. Sierra Jasna and Brittney Dean had back-to-back RBI's. Sydney Key did more damage as she ripped a two-run single to give the Eagles a quick 4-0 advantage. After four complete innings, the game was tied 5-5. The Eagles broke the tie in the sixth when Megan Madden recorded an RBI single. Jasna later followed with another RBI single to push the Eagles in front 7-5. But McMurry scored a decisive three runs in the bottom half of the sixth. The Eagles outhit the War Hawks 14-12. Jasna went 3-for-4 with two RBI. Key finished 3-for-3 with two RBI and two runs.
