Lady Eagles Roll To Second Straight ASC Win

Clarksville, Ark.-The U of O women's basketball team won its second straight American Southwest Conference game when it took a 69-61 victory over Mary Hardin-Baylor Thursday night.
    
Tyler Adams posted a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds for Ozarks (8-5, 5-4 ASC).

Ozarks led 36-26 at the half behind 51 percent shooting from the field. Ashley Hipps drilled a three-pointer with 5:21 remaining in the half to give Ozarks a 38-28 advantage. Adams came up big in the second half with seven points and four rebounds. Ozarks never relinquished its lead in the second half although Mary Hardin-Baylor came within striking distance. After the Lady Crusaders cut it to 56-53, Adams scored four straight points to give Ozarks the momentum back with under four minutes to play. Hipps added 15 points, while Bryanna Moltz and Jordana Andrews scored 11 and 10 points, respectively, in the game.
    
Mary Hardin-Baylor falls to 8-4 overall and 4-3 in the ASC.
