Andrews Hits Six Three’s In 78-69 Win

Clarksville, Ark.-Senior guard Jordana Andrews hit six three-pointers to lead the Lady Eagles to a 78-69 win over East Texas Baptist University Thursday night in American Southwest Conference action.
     
Andrews made 6-of-8 from long-range to score 20 points. She hit four of her six shots from the three-point line in the second half. Ozarks (10-9, 6-8 ASC) led 36-33 at the half, but hit seven three-pointers and shot 46 percent from the field in the second half to score 42 points. East Texas Baptist (8-10, 4-9 ASC) shot just 38 percent from the floor in the second half. Andrews' three at the 8:46 mark gave Ozarks a 60-50 advantage. The Lady Eagles then controlled the game the rest of the way. Bryanna Moltz led the team with 21 points. Madison Sherrer pulled down 12 rebounds in the win and Ashley Hipps added 13 points.

Ozarks will host LeTourneau University January 31. The game against LeTourneau is designated as "Senior Day" and Homecoming. All women's and men's senior basketball players as well as senior cheerleaders will be honored following the women's game that day.
