Five Reach Double Figures In Women’s Basketball Overtime Win

Clarksville, Ark.-The women's basketball team improved to 2-0 on the season behind a solid all-around effort and a strong overtime finish in a 88-81 win against Bacone College Friday night.
    
All five starters for Ozarks scored in double figures, with Bryanna Moltz pouring in 30 points. Moltz's night was fueled by a 5-of-6 effort from the three-point line. She also grabbed 14 rebounds to post a double-double.  Ashley Hipps scored 16 points thanks to a 9-of-12 performance from the free throw line. Rose Robinson added 14 points, while Macie Kultgen had 13 and Madison Sherrer had 10 points.

Ozarks scored first in overtime and never relinquished its lead. The Eagles finished the game hitting 8-of-16 from the three-point line and 27-of-36 from the free throw line. Ozarks led 40-26 at halftime before Bacone (3-3) made a run in the second and third quarters to send it into overtime.

Ozarks will travel to Walnut Ridge to face Williams Baptist College November 23.
