Clarksville, Ark.-No. 8 Texas-Tyler shot 53 percent from the field to earn a 107-60 win over Ozarks in women's American Southwest Conference basketball play.
Texas-Tyler (15-1, 9-0 ASC) led 27-7 after one quarter and then held a 58-18 lead at halftime. Texas-Tyler hit 56 percent from the field in the first half, including 66 percent from the three-point line. Ozarks (5-6, 1-5 ASC) went just 6-of-26 (23%) from the floor in the first half. All five starters for Texas-Tyler reached double figures in scoring.
Tyler Adams led Ozarks with 13 points. Diamond Goodwyn scored 11 points.
Ozarks will travel to Mary Hardin-Baylor January 18, Louisiana College January 21 and East Texas Baptist University January 23.
