Colorado Springs, Colo.– The University of the Ozarks women's basketball team came up short Friday afternoon losing to Concordia College in the Rocky Mountain Thanksgiving Classic 52-69.
Ozarks (2-3) outscored Concordia (3-2) in the first quarter 13-11 and then struggled to get shots to fall the remainder of the game. The Eagles shot 27.9% from the field in the game. Delanei Stephens led the team in points and rebounds scoring a career high 18 points and grabbing 12 rebounds for a double-double. Bryanna Moltz ended the game with 10 points and Anisha Johnson had 9 points and 6 rebounds.
Ozarks will play against Colorado College November 26 in the final game of the Rocky Mountain Thanksgiving Classic.
