Texas Dallas Second Half Too Much for Ozarks Women

Richardson, Texas- The University of the Ozarks women's basketball team couldn't overcome a second half surge at Texas Dallas and fell 54-70 in American Southwest Conference play Saturday afternoon.

After one half of play Ozarks (5-4, 1-1 ASC) was tied with Texas Dallas (3-2, 1-0 ASC) 35-35. Texas Dallas was able to score 30 points off of 21 forced turnovers. Despite Texas Dallas' aggressive defense, Ozarks was able to shoot the ball 45% from the field, 42% from beyond the arc and 65% from the charity stripe.

Bryanna Moltz
led the team in scoring with 12 points. Hailey Ostrander scored 11 points and Delanei Stephens finished with 10 points. Rose Robinson grabbed a team high 8 rebounds and Anisha Johnson ended the game with 8 boards.

Ozarks will host Concordia University Texas December 5.
