THE BASICS
The nationally-ranked East Texas Baptist University Tigers presented too much size and depth for the Eagles as the visitors manufactured a 69-56 win Saturday in American Southwest Conference action. The Eagles scored first and held the lead for the first four minutes of the game only to have East Texas Baptist hold a 26-14 first quarter advantage.
