THE BASICS
The Eagles let an early 15-11 first quarter lead slip away and allowed 27 second quarter points as Rhodes College handed the home team a 70-63 setback to open the season. The Eagles out scored the Lynx 20-16 in the fourth quarter, but it didn't matter as Rhodes held a 38-28 halftime advantage fueled by the second quarter.
