THE BASICS
The Eagles handled Hendrix College for the second time this season with a 58-46 victory Sunday in Conway. In both wins, the Eagles held Hendrix to 46 points. Four starters reached double figures in scoring for the Eagles. The Eagles had a strong second half outscoring the Warriors 16-11 in the third quarter and 15-8 in the fourth quarter. With the score tied 27-27 at halftime, the Eagles relied on free throws in the third quarter to take a 43-38 advantage heading into the fourth. The Eagles held the lead for the entire fourth quarter. Carly Grace Dougan hit a key three-pointer with 4:51 remaining in the game to give the Eagles a 50-42 lead. Dougan finished with a team-high 13 points.
