THE BASICS
A second half rally came up short as the Eagles fell on the road 59-55 against Concordia University Texas Saturday. Concordia led 30-24 at halftime, but the Eagles made a big push in the third quarter scoring 19 points. Heading into the fourth, the Eagles led 43-41. Down the stretch, Concordia hit a pair of big shots from the field with less than three minutes remaining. The Eagles were outscored 8-2 in the final 2:45 of the game.
