COACH GARDNER QUOTE
"I'm proud of the fight, the guys battled and went after opportunities at the tournament. We faced tough competitors. We'll keep working on positioning, setups to our offense and more wrestling through transitions. Individually, obviously Adolfo, Devon and Russell competed well. Adolfo showed great poise, patience while working hard at heavyweight against a solid opponent in the finals. Devon had a familiar opponent and it was the most offense I've seen him get after so that was good. Russell wrestled well in his division, and I am most impressed with his continued progress on the mat, wrestling from the bottom. The guys are getting better every week. We are excited to host Ouachita Baptist University on Wednesday so it is a quick turnaround, but that should benefit us."

DEVON JACKSON QUOTE
"My second place finish is not an achievement to me because I failed to overcome the obstacle in my path. Although this loss brings frustration, I have to look at it as an opportunity. The positives I have to take are that I was the most aggressive and relentless with my attacks I have been all year. I will take this opportunity to refocus, study more film and train even harder so I can put myself in the position of the success I seek. Every match is a learning experience and this just another one for me."
