Conway, Ark.-Hendrix College opened up a tight game scoring four goals in the second half to top Ozarks 6-1 in women's soccer action Tuesday night.
Hendrix (3-0-0) scored in the 14th minute and added another in the 33rd minute to hold a 2-0 advantage. The Eagles (1-2-0) would close the gap to 2-1 when Frances Adams connected on a shot in the 44th minute. With Ozarks back in the game, Hendrix would score back-to-back goals early in the second half to take command of the non-conference affair. Leading 4-1, Hendrix netted two more goals in the match. Ozarks generated 17 shots, with five on frame.
Ozarks will travel to Illinois to face Greenville College and Principia College September 9 and September 10.
