Marshall, Texas-East Texas Baptist University scored the match's only goal in the 40th minute to upend the Eagles 1-0 in American Southwest Conference women's soccer play Saturday.

ETBU (4-2-3, 2-1-1 ASC) created nine shots in the first half to apply pressure on Ozarks' defense. The Eagles came up with four saves in the first half, but couldn't keep the Tigers off the board in the first 45 minutes of play. In the second half, Ozarks (4-5-1, 2-2-1 ASC) recorded four corner kicks and five shots, including four shots on goal, but came up empty. ETBU totaled 14 shots in the match, while Ozarks had six.

Ozarks will travel to Williams Baptist College October 4.
