Women’s Soccer Team Unable To Find Net In 1-0 Loss

Walnut Ridge, Ark.-The women's soccer team took on Williams Baptist College Tuesday afternoon and suffered a 1-0 loss despite holding a 11-4 shots advantage.

Ozarks (4-6-1) was on the attack in the opening half with seven shots. The Eagles forced Williams Baptist goalkeeper Jasmine Espinoza to make three saves in the first half. But it was Williams Baptist (2-5-1) that scored in the first half to secure the match. Maria Ramirez would be credited with a goal in the 36th minute.
    
In the second half, Ozarks would record three corner kicks and four shots, but couldn't even the match. Williams Baptist was held to one shot in the second half.

Ozarks will host UT-Tyler October 8.
