Women’s Soccer Team Handles Louisiana College

Clarksville, Ark.-The women's soccer team recorded its fourth shutout of the season with a 3-0 win over Louisiana College in American Southwest Conference play Thursday.

Ozarks (5-7-1, 3-3-1 ASC) controlled the entire match, holding a 28-1 shots advantage and a 8-0 corner kicks advantage. Brittanie Gragg scored her fifth goal of the season after netting a shot in the 17th minute. Tiffany Robinson hit a shot over the keeper's head in the 55th minute to put Ozarks in front 2-0. Frances Adams scored the final goal in the 65th minute. Olivia Allard, Katherine Zamora and Chance Koy had assists in the match.

Kiara Henry recorded her second shutout of the season in goal. Louisiana College drops to 0-11-2 overall.

Ozarks will host Belhaven University October 15 for Homecoming and Alumni Weekend. A tailgate picnic is planned for 12:30 p.m., with the women's match to start at 1:00 p.m. The University athletic department will also honor a veteran as part of the Wounded Warrior Project.
