Women’s Soccer Team Achieves USC Academic Award

The women's soccer team received the USC Team Academic Award for the 2017-18 academic year.

Clarksville, Ark. – The University of the Ozarks women's soccer team has been honored with the prestigious Team Academic Award from the United Soccer Coaches (USC), it was announced by the organization.
    
The USC Team Academic Award is presented to those teams with a 3.0 or better cumulative grade point average (GPA) for the 2017-2018 academic year. Under Head Coach Natalie Dreyer, the Eagles posted a 3.03 team GPA to receive the distinction. It marks the ninth time the women's soccer program has received the honor.
    
The USC annually recognizes programs for their exemplary performance in the classroom. A total of 782 soccer teams (293 men, 489 women) earned the Team Academic Award. There were 198 schools who had both their men's and women's programs among the recipients. The University of the Ozarks men's program also received the award.
