Swim Team Drops Austin College Dual

The Eagles took a loss against Austin College in Texas.

Sherman, Texas-The University of the Ozarks women's and men's swim team took a loss at the Austin College Dual Saturday in Texas.

The women's team were defeated 148-40, while the men's team took a 152-67 loss.

Kaitlyn Henrietta took down her own record in the 100 free with a time of 1:01.17. Catherine Wellborn set a new record in the 200 free with a 2:17.94.Shalley Coffin, Paige Vire, Catherine Wellborn and Hailee Rice set a new team record in the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 2:08.62. On the men's side, Joel Coppernoll took down the last remaining record from 2016 with a 4:38.64 in the 400 Individual Medley.

Jacob Jones won the 1000 free with a time of 10:33.85. Coppernoll won the 500 free with a time of 5:02.16. Vire won the 100 breast with a time of 1:14.20.
