Women’s Swim Team Receives National Academic Award

The women's swim and dive program was honored with the CSCAA team academic award.

Colorado Springs, Colo.-The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) has named the University of the Ozarks women's swimming team to its Scholar All-America team for the Spring 2019 Semester.  A record 480 institutions were named to the list.

Ozarks posted a 3.53 team grade point average to receive the award. The program also received the award for the Fall semester.

"Coach DeGeus has built a program that represents the university so well - in the pool, the classroom and community," CSCAA Executive Director Greg Earhart noted.

At 3.45, the median GPA among women's teams was the highest on record.  The men's median (3.23) was down slightly from the Fall semester.
