Clarksville, Ark.-The women's tennis team competed in the USTA/ITA Regional Tournament over the weekend in Georgetown, Texas, and won a pair of singles matches in the "B" consolation Friday.
On day one, Andrea Munoz defeated Megan Morris from LeTourneau 6-1, 6-3 to advance. Paige Myers was also a winner over Annlee Glass from Hendrix College 6-3, 6-2. Both Munoz and Myers were later defeated. Munoz dropped her match to Alexis Popovich from Concordia University Texas 6-2, 6-3. Myers lost 6-2, 6-1 against Joni Baxley from Texas Lutheran University.
Ozarks will begin spring play February 12 against Sul Ross and Howard Payne in Kerrville, Texas.
