Clarksville, Ark.-The women's tennis team dropped a 8-1 setback against Hendrix College at the new Alexander-Boreham Tennis Center Saturday morning.
In doubles, Hendrix edged the Eagles 8-5. No. 1 singles player Nadia Madronal topped Rebecca Sherman 6-0, 6-2.
The new Alexander-Boreham Tennis Center has eight courts with LED lighting and features PlaySight video technology allowing fans to watch the matches online and players to evaluate their play. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held Saturday, October 27.
The Eagles will travel to Texas for the Collin College Open October 12-13.
