Women's Tennis Team Handles John Brown University

Clarksville, Ark.-The women's tennis team handled John Brown University a 8-1 setback in its final fall match Wednesday night.

The Eagles (1-0) cruised in No. 1 and No. 2 doubles, while winning by forfeit at the No. 3 spot. At the No. 1 position, Karlee Hart and Angelica Garcia topped their opponent 8-5. Lexy Corona and Alexis Rogers won easily 8-0 at the No. 2 spot. In singles, the Eagles picked up wins at No. 2, No. 3, No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6 (forfeit). At the No. 2 position, Corona won 6-0, 6-2. Kaitlin Gutierrez won 6-1, 7-5 at the No. 3 spot. Rogers egded her opponent 1-6, 7-6, 10-7 at No. 4 and Ana Ryan won 6-1, 6-1 at the No. 5 spot. 

The Eagles will not play again until the spring semester.
