Clarksville, Ark.-The women's tennis team opened the 2021 spring season Saturday against NCAA III Covenant College and lost 7-2.
In No. 2 doubles, Anna Ryan and Alexis Rogers defeated Nicole Restrepo and Anna Logan 8-5. Kaitlyn Gutierrez won at No. 3 singles 6-4, 7-5. Angelica Garcia and Gutierrez lost at No. 1 doubles 8-0. Garcia would lose 6-0, 6-2 at No. 1 singles. At No. 2 singles, Alexis Rogers lost 6-0, 6-3. Ryan fell 6-1, 6-1 at No. 4 singles and Lea Terrell lost 6-1, 7-6 at No. 5 singles. The Eagles did not have a No. 6 singles player.
The Eagles will host John Brown University February 13 for Senior Day.
