Springfield, Mo.-The women's tennis team went on the road and took a narrow 4-3 win over NAIA Evangel University on Saturday.

The Eagles were strong in singles winning in four spots. Kaitlin Gutierrez won 4-6, 6-1, 6-3 at the No. 3 position. Anna Ryan won 7-5,6-4 at the No. 4 position. Skylar Frazier won 4-6, 6-2, 6-1 at the No. 5 spot. Lea Terrell defeated her opponent 4-6, 7-5, 7-6 at the No. 6 spot. Playing NAIA rules, the Crusaders got one point for winning two of three doubles matches.

The Eagles will host Belhaven University April 24 in the final regular season match of the season.
